Two of Indonesia’s best MLBB Ladies teams will compete at MWI 2023.

In order to advance the country’s gaming and esports industry, KINCIR is holding the IESPL Women Championship (IWC) tournament to enliven the competitive world of Mobile Legends Ladies.

The two best teams from this tournament will represent Indonesia in the Mobile Legends Women Invitational 2023 (MWI 2023).

The Games and Esports industry in Indonesia has become one of the choices and opportunities to achieve achievements and become a promising profession.

This can be seen from the many esports tournaments held in recent years, as well as several esports teams from Indonesia that have won various international competitions.

In addition, the development of female gamers, especially in Asia, continues to increase from year to year. Based on data from Google and Niko Partners, currently the population of female gamers has touched 38% of the total 1.33 billion gamer population in Asia, or has almost equaled the number of male players.

There are 12 teams participating in the IWC tournament, including: MBR Delphyne, Dewa United Eve, FOES WIN, Echo Aeris, AURA Phoenix, Tigerwong Seiren, RRQ Mika, GPX Basreng, Geek Girls, Bigetron Era, Nigma Galaxy, and A8.

Then the competition was divided into two qualifying rounds namely, Group A which was won by MBR Delphyne and Nigma Galaxy, and Group B which was won by GPX Basreng and Bigetron Era.

Winners in each group will enter the playoffs which will compete for the title on Sunday (1/14) and are entitled to a total prize of
IDR 30 million.

The two best teams will also represent Indonesia at MWI 2023 to compete with the other eight best Southeast Asian women’s esports teams.

There are seven countries participating in the fight for the MWI 2023 title, including: Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, and one representative from the Mekong region (Laos, Thailand, Vietnam).
