How is the condition of the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines? Listen to the story of one of the RISK Velkhana players, VeneGod below.
The development of the MLBB ladies scene in various regions is currently going hand in hand both in Indonesia, the Philippines and other countries such as Malaysia to Myanmar.
Unfortunately, until now it turns out that the conditions for the MLBB ladies scene have marked differences from each of the regions mentioned above.
Not all countries, the MLBB ladies scene is as big and massive as Indonesia where there are always tournaments, there are always new players and teams emerging and so on.
This was highlighted by one of the players from RISK Velkhana, VeneGod, where he has been a pro player for MLBB ladies for a long time in the Philippines.
Previously, VeneGod, like several other ladies’ players in Indonesia, played just for fun and then entered the competitive scene.
“At first I played MLBB just for fun. Then I knew that there were several teams looking for or creating an MLBB ladies team and finally I was interested in joining until now,” said VeneGod to ONE Esports exclusive.
However, VeneGod explained that even though he has been a pro player for MLBB ladies for a long time, the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines is very different from that in Indonesia.
He stated that the MLBB ladies scene in Indonesia is still much bigger than the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines.

“Since two years ago I have been playing as a MLBB pro player. The MLBB scene in the Philippines is very different from that in Indonesia, in Indonesia there are many opportunities to compete and many ladies players are interested in competing in the ladies scene,”
“It’s not as big as in the Philippines and can’t be compared to the ladies’ scene in Indonesia,” he continued.
So what is the condition of the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines and what are VeneGod’s hopes for the ladies scene in the Philippines in the future?
RISK VeneGod talks about the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines

Previously, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women Invitational (MWI) 2023 competition, the Philippines was represented by two teams namely RISK Velkhana and SMART Omega Empress.
In the previous competition, at MWI 2022 there were also other teams that could be seen such as BREN Victress or currently in the Philippines there are also various other teams.

Not only in the Philippines, other regions such as Malaysia, Cambodia, to the Myanmar region also participated in the 2023 MWI tournament.
Furthermore, VeneGod explained that in the Philippines, MLBB ladies tournaments are often held. However, unlike in Indonesia, in the Philippines they still use the online system.
Each team competes from their respective residence (Gaming House/player’s house) and offline tournaments are rarely held like in Indonesia.
“There are lots of MLBB ladies scene tournaments in the Philippines, but it’s rarely like this, offline, they play online in gaming houses there. Anyway, it’s better in Indonesia,” he said.
Even so, these conditions did not discourage VeneGod. With his experience at MWI 2023, he hopes that later the MLBB ladies scene in the Philippines can grow as big as it does in Indonesia.
He considered that in Indonesia, the opportunities for ladies to compete were huge and in Indonesia there were many opportunities for ladies to become pro players.
“I hope there will be as many players and ladies’ teams in the Philippines as in Indonesia and for me Indonesia is the best country, I really like the many opportunities for ladies to become pro players,” he concluded.
