The Indonesian Esports Council (PB ESI) is committed to making international-level events, both tournaments and summits, a momentum to further strengthen Indonesia’s reputation in the global esports arena.

This was conveyed by PB ESI Daily Chair, Bambang Sunarwibowo in response to the rise of world-class esports events in Indonesia.

Several world-class esports events in early January 2023 have also been held, such as the 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) and the 2022 M4 World Championship for the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) held in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the future, world-class titles from various number of games will also look at Indonesia as the venue.

Bambang Sunarwibowo explained, in accordance with the organizational commitment under the chairmanship of PB ESI Budi Gunawan, international events such as tournaments and summits which are currently being held in Indonesia are in line with PB ESI’s big vision and design in accelerating the development of esports in the country. .

It is hoped that various esports events that will be held can make Indonesia one of the world’s esports powers.

He also reminded that 2022 PB ESI will close with the prestigious Indonesia Esports Summit 2022, in which the 14th IESF 14th World Esports Championship will also be held.

This event has become one of the world’s centers of attention where PB ESI has succeeded in presenting a real example of how esports has the potential to empower its broad ecosystem, including the world of tourism and the creative economy.

“And in 2023, the splendor of esports in Indonesia will be opened with a series of international events, one of which is the M4 World Championship 2022 and M-Summit Jakarta 2022. This is very positive, especially in continuing to increase the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of Indonesian esports people to achieve even more in 2019. this and the following years,” said Bambang.
