M4 World Championship Schedule, Match Formats and Results

The M4 World Championship schedule will be divided into various phases starting from the Group Stage, Knockouts Stage (Playoffs) and the Grand Final. All teams will fight for the title at the end of the competition.
M4 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE |
1. GROUP STAGE : 1-4 JANUARY 2023 |
2. KNOCKOUT STAGE: JANUARY 7-14, 2023 |
3. GRAND FINALS: 15 JANUARY 2023 |
Tournament format
Each participating team will be divided into 4 groups which will determine their position in the Knockouts round. There will be no participants who fall from the group stage round. The 8 best teams with the best positions (1-2 positions in each group) will fill the upper bracket.
On the other hand, the remaining 8 teams (positions 3-4 in each group) will automatically fill the lower bracket in the knockout rounds. You have to be careful, because position will determine the result that can lead them to the next round in this tournament.
In the Knockouts round, each team will play a different game. If in the group stage they play BO1, then in the upper bracket they will play BO5 and in the lower bracket they will play BO3.
The Grand Final, still the same as the previous year, will be determined in the BO7 format. The Lower Bracket Semi-finals and Final will use the BO5 format.
