MLBB World Championship is the most prestigious tournament in the esports scene Mobile Legends: Bang Banga mobile MOBA game made by Moonton.

This world-level tournament has missed three editions since it was first held in Malaysia in 2019.

For the first time, Moonton held the M1 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This world championship starts on November 11-17 2019 which is participated by eight of the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams.

The All Indonesian Finals took place at the top of the party where two eternal rivals namely EVOS Legends and RRQ clashed with the status of the best team at stake. The match between the two teams was exciting but EVOS finally won with a tight score of 4-3.

M2 World Championship | January 18-24, 2021

The global COVID-19 pandemic has forced Moonton, as the organizer of the MLBB World Championship as well as the owner of the game Mobile Legends, to hold the 2020 M2 World Championship in 2021 in Singapore. This tournament was attended by 12 teams that qualified from their respective regions.

At the end of the story of the tournament that took place from January 18-24 2021, Bren Esports from the Philippines managed to win after defeating the surprise package from Cambodia Burmese Ghouls with a score of 4-3 through a tough battle.

M3 World Championship | 6 – 19 December 2021

Blacklist International ONIC PH US$800,000

Rumors had circulated that the M3 World Championship would take place in Indonesia, Moonton finally chose Singapore again as the host. This time, 16 of the best MLBB teams competed for a much bigger prize pool than the previous edition.

BTK became the talk of the town in this tournament, after the champion in the North American region made a surprising appearance in the group phase and the playoffs but in the end two Filipino teams appeared in the Grand Final, namely Blacklist International and ONIC PH. The battle between these two strong teams was tight but in the end the Blacklist won with a score of 4-0.

M4 World Championship | 1 – 15 January 2023

ECHO succeeded in realizing its Cinderella story in the fourth M Series event after being able to thwart Blacklist International’s mission in securing its second world title. His crushing 4-0 victory in the grand final was an affirmation of his strength in the M4.

On the other hand, Indonesia again failed to win the title after only being able to finish right behind the Philippines, RRQ Hoshi took third place, followed by ONIC Esports in fifth place.
