SEA Games 2023 Cambodia will compete in 9 esports branches.

SEA Games 2023 Cambodia will be an annual Southeast Asian sporting event which will be held again in mid-2023.

Given the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic that has begun to subside, it seems that the organizing committee will again hold the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games as scheduled.

Among the several sports that will be contested at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia, one of the branches that will be in the spotlight is esports. In the last 3 SEA Games events, esports became a part because of its rapid development.

Each participating country certainly has well-known athletes in their fields. Especially esports, all countries compete so fiercely.

Developing from time to time, the esports branch also has an increasing number of matches. From 3-5 numbers, now it has expanded to 9 numbers that have been determined by the committee.

The following is a list of esports branches that will be contested at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.

VALORANT officially replaces League of Legends: Wild Rift (Female) which had to be released due to factors unexplained by the organizers. The development of the VALORANT scene in Southeast Asia has indeed been very rapid and has taken the spotlight by storm.

It’s no wonder that VALORANT was chosen to replace LoL WR (Women) and there is another branch, namely AK2, a type of FPS game (such as Cross Fire), which is also being contested again.

The date for the implementation of the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia series of events will still be announced later.

And we will update all changes related to esports in the future. Hopefully from the existing branches, Indonesia can be more successful.
