The golden ink that James has etched will forever remain in the history of the Land of Dawn.

The MLBB esports industry has just been abandoned by one of the big names who has made achievements, James Chen has made sure that he is no longer involved in the professional arena.

James is one example where dedication will not betray results. He has experienced many ups and downs as a player and coach, the titles he has won are not small.

Now, the former coach of RRQ Hoshi and the 2021 MLBB SEA Games national team is saying goodbye, the main reason is that he wants to give more time to his family. It was revealed from the upload on his Instagram account.

As we know, those who work in the professional esports industry must dedicate a lot of time in their careers. They often find it difficult to set aside time for loved ones.

Apart from being successful as a player, James Chen is known for being more brilliant as a coach. His coaching career began when he flew to the United States to take charge of Team Gosu, who eventually became America’s representative for the inaugural Mobile Legends world championship, the M1 World Championship.

Joined in group B with Burmese Ghouls, Axis Esports, and Candy Comeback, Team Gosu was only able to place third and was forced to leave early from the biggest MLBB stage.

With valuable lessons and experience on the international stage, the 28-year-old coach returns to one of the most competitive MLBB regions in the world, Indonesia. In early 2020, he was introduced as the new coach of RRQ Hoshi.

During his time as the coach of the King of all Kings, James gave many prestigious titles such as back-to-back MPL ID Season 6 and 7 champion, as well as MPLI 4 Nation Cup champion. Unfortunately, this success did not continue to the world championship, the M2 World Championship, where RRQ Hoshi finished third after losing to Bren Esports, the Filipino team that ultimately won the tournament.

Shortly after the end of the M2 World Championship, James resigned from the position of coach of RRQ Hoshi. This decision is very unfortunate for many people, especially fans of RRQ Hoshi considering the many titles he has presented.

Then James’ coaching career continued in Neighboring Country, where he took up the offer to become Team SMG’s coach, and again James’ prowess as a coach was evident. Team SMG, which is only labeled as a mid-table team, has successfully evolved to become the ruler of MPL MY. It was on this team that his career officially ended.

The MLBB world will always miss the man who is often called Jamet. The golden ink that he has etched will forever remain in the history of the Land of Dawn.
