Exploring the story behind BOOM Esports’ victory as the champion of 2023 PMPL ID Spring.

The success of BOOM Esports in winning the 2023 PMPL ID Spring title on Sunday (26/2), made PUBG Mobile fans in Indonesia doubt BOOM Esports’ capacity as a champion. This is certainly heartbreaking considering that the title means so much to BOOM.

Changes to the 2023 PMPL ID Spring format in terms of points and from a technical point of view, namely the rotation pattern and zones that force players to develop more, have indeed made all the teams change the strategies of the participating teams.

Especially from the competition system which only implements 14 days of implementation or only runs for two weeks without a final.

Various criticisms raised by unscrupulous fans certainly reached BOOM Esports and the General Manager, Marzarian.”OwljanSahita finally spoke about this and responded to his team’s victory.

What is Owljan’s response on behalf of BOOM Esports management regarding the various sharp criticisms made by fans for his team’s victory?

Together with LIL ANANG and JuniorJr in the PANELIST program through the Bigetron TV YouTube channel, Owljan and Bintang “Kent” Prakoso Sinaga as the coach discussed several things about BOOM Esports’ victory at the 2023 PMPL ID Spring.

Initially they discussed the history where Bigetron Red Aliens at that time managed to claim the world title at PMCO Split Fall 2019 in Malaysia and brought Indonesia to become world champion in the competitive PUBG Mobile scene.

Then, Owljan issued a statement in which he heard there were criticisms that BOOM Esports only managed to become champions due to a change in the tournament period which was only held for a period of only two weeks.

“Netizens say ‘only two weeks so BOOM won’ so what do you want, win is win!,” said Owljan.

Owljan added, it was not his fault that his team could become the champion because all the teams had been informed regarding the technical changes to the tournament and all the results of each team were the responsibility of each team.

“We also played from the start, having been told the rules, playing for two weeks without resetting (points) and other things. You can become champions if in the second week (points) are the highest and all the teams know,” added Owljan.

“Many people say ‘just try it, if it doesn’t take two weeks it will definitely BOOM blablablabla, it’s a shame that my (champion) team is just trying it’, it’s our (team’s) fault if, for example, your team plays try and try?,” he concluded.

Even though they looked annoyed, Owljan and Kent tried to remain calm in accepting any facts on the ground regarding the results they had achieved in the 2023 PMPL ID Spring.

Hopefully in the future all fans and unscrupulous fans can show positive traits and be more supportive of whoever the team wins,
