The M4 World Championship will open the pro scene for Mobile Legends in 2023. After the fourth MLBB world championship has been held, the roadmap for the 2023 MLBB competitive scene will return throughout the year.

Even though M4 is actually part of the MLBB esports agenda in 2022, the tight schedule means that this event must be held on January 1-15 2023.

After M4 ends, the new MLBB esports agenda will begin soon. There are many tournaments that have been announced directly by Moonton to be presented throughout 2023, both official and directly supported by them.

Then, what competitions and tournaments will decorate the MLBB esports scene throughout 2023 in all regions? Here’s the review.

If you count all the tournaments or competitions that will be held in each region, of course the number will be very large. But if we summarize and group them, there are a total of nine competitive MLBB 2023 scene titles that we can enjoy.

In total there will be more than 170 teams competing in the MLBB 2023 competitive scene. Apart from that, Moonton also claims there will be more than 1,600 matches which will be held on 260 days throughout the year.

1. Mobile Legends Woman’s Invitational

The first event of the 2023 MLBB competitive scene is the Mobile legends Woman’s Invitational aka MWI. This Southeast Asian-scale ladies’ tournament will be held again for the second time after achieving much success in 2022.

Based on the plan, MWI will be held in February 2023. In the first event, Bigetron Era managed to come out as the best to complete the series of achievements they have won in the national and international MLBB Ladies scene.

2. The holding of 7 MPL in all regions

As usual, MPL which is the highest caste tournament in each region will be held again. There are a total of seven different titles, namely in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Brazil and MENA.

In Indonesia and several other regions, this MPL event is known as the “odd season”. It is planned that this event will begin in the period February to May 2023.

For all MPL in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, this event is also very important to fight for tickets to appear in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup, aka MSC.

Apart from the seven MPL, Moonton will also hold tournaments for the North American region, NACT, and the LATAM Super League tournament. Apart from that, Moonton also promised that there would be a new tournament for teams in the Turkish region.

3. SEA Games 2023 Cambodia

Furthermore, the MLBB 2023 competitive scene will also continue at the 2023 SEA Games which will be held in Cambodia on 5-17 May 2023. Based on the plan, this event will present two MLBB numbers, namely men and women.

Considering that this event is the SEA Games, this means that the players who will compete here are those who have been selected to enter the national team to fight for medals for the country.

4. Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2023

As previously mentioned, the MSC event will return in 2023 to bring together the best teams in the MPL and other official events in Southeast Asia.

For the MSC 2023 event, Moonton has appointed Cambodia as the host. This will be the first time for the country to host an official MLBB international tournament from Moonton which will be held in mid-June 2023.



5. Snapdragon Pro Series MLBB Challenge

The Snapdragon Pro Series MLBB Challenge event will be the first and newest in the competitive scene of MLBB 2023. This event will be hosted by ESL in July 2023.

6. World Cyber ​​Games Grand Finals

After being absent for three years, World Cyber ​​Games aka WCG will be held again in 2023. And for the first time, the organizers have included Mobile Legends in the list of one of the games being contested in it.

If you look at the tournament format, the players who will compete in this WCG must take part in a long selection series that started at the end of 2022. It is not yet known whether there will be slots for professional teams to be able to compete in it.

7. The next season of 7 MPL in all regions

In the second half of each year, MLBB fans will again be entertained by the competition of the best teams in the MPL event which will be held in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Brazil and MENA.

The MPL event in the second half of each year is one of the most anticipated, because the best teams in each region will get a slot to compete in the M Series, aka the next MLBB world championship.

Apart from the seven MPL, Moonton will also hold the NACT and LATAM Super League tournaments. However, the new tournament in the Turkish region, as promised in the first half of 2023, has not been announced.

The seven MPL events along with the NACT and LATAM Super League are planned to be held from August to October 2023.

8. ONE Esports MPL Invitational

Just like the last few years, ONE Esports will again be holding the MPL Invitational, aka MPLI. This event will bring together the best selected teams in the SEA region to compete against each other before advancing to the world championship.

Based on the announcement, MPLI 2023 will be held in November 2023. Further details, such as the number of teams and the format to be used, will only be disclosed ahead of the tournament.

9. M5 World Championship

Of all the series in the MLBB 2023 competitive scene, of course all fans will be looking forward to the biggest event, namely the fifth M Series, aka M5. Now, the host of the event has also been announced.

Before holding the M4 grand final between ECHO vs Blacklist International, Moonton had announced that the Philippines would be the host of the M5 event. It is planned that this event will be held in December 2023.
